CARE of Daffodil (Narcissus):

Daffodil 'Tête à tête' is a popular yellow miniature daffodil. It blooms from March to April, with small, lemon-yellow flowers, with a dark yellow, trumpet-shaped corolla. There are several flowers on one stem. The leaves are green and strap-shaped.

Daffodil 'Tête à tête' likes a position in full sun or partial shade and in well-drained soil. The plant is very winter hardy, wind resistant, does not tolerate too wet soil and is very disease resistant. Perfect bulb plant for the mixed border, pots, under planting of deciduous trees, flower meadows, cottage gardens and is also used as a cut flower.

In the house

The daffodils grow quickly in your home and you can quickly enjoy the beautiful flowers. The bulbs have everything needed to produce a flower. If you want to put the bulbs in the garden after flowering, make sure that the bulbs are completely underground. Give them some time to die back completely before cutting the stems so they will bloom again each spring.

Plant advice and care

Plant the flower bulbs in loose soil 10 cm deep. You can plant the flower bulbs with the points upwards from September to December before the frost period. You should only give the flower bulbs some water during extremely dry periods. All daffodils are perennial bulbs, which means you can leave the bulbs in the ground and enjoy them every spring. Daffodil bulbs need a cold period (winter) to bloom. In the open ground they can withstand all weather conditions. In extreme frost, place the daffodil bulbs, planted in pots, in a cold shed.

The Daffodil is a recognizable spring bloomer. With its color it indicates that spring has started again.
