CARE of Chinese bellflower (Platycodon):
The Chinese bellflower is a decorative summer bloomer that, once settled in a spot, will continue to bloom enthusiastically for years. It is most beautiful in combination with other border plants. The plant blooms with balloon-shaped buds that open into cup-shaped blue flowers of 5 to 8 cm in diameter, singly or in bunches. The leaves are green and lance-shaped.
Plant the balloon clock in a sunny location. It grows best in a sufficiently moist or humus-rich, but permeable soil. Plant density: 3 per m²
Tip: Remove spent flowers if necessary. Transplant as little as possible.
