CARE of Turtle vine (Callisia):

The Callisia Turtle is a beautiful, compact plant with very small, scale-like, gray-green leaves that have a surprising purple back. The plant is therefore also called 'tortoise plant'. It is best to water them from below, otherwise the plant may rot. Therefore, place your plant on a saucer with water twice a week, every 2 weeks in winter. Use distilled water or rainwater at room temperature. Preferably in a shady or light environment, but not in full sun. Can also withstand dry air very well. In summer, this plant can also survive outside in a shady spot.
