Care of Ripple jade (Crassula undulatifolia 'Magic'):
Crassula does not use much water, as this plant stores water in its fleshy leaves and evaporates little water through the fat layer on the leaves. Water the Crassula occasionally. In summer it is best to let the Crassula dry for 1 week and in winter for 6 weeks before watering again.
Make sure: that the soil is completely dry before watering again.
When the leaves of the Crassula become wrinkled, this is a sign that the plant is not receiving enough water. After watering, these wrinkles generally disappear within a day. Too much water causes more problems. This can cause the roots and even the stems to rot. This will first become visible by the yellowing of the leaves.
Ripple jade prefer to be in partial shade. Especially in winter, it is wise to place the plant in front of a window. For optimal growth, give this plant a spot in partial shade, where it can enjoy filtered sunlight.
