CARE of Gaillardia:

Perennial, colorful cut flowering perennial with long lasting flowering. Tirelessly develops large flowers that vary in bright shades of red and yellow. For borders and cuttings. 50 - 60 cm high. You can also sow them from March and plant them from May. Blooms from June to October from the 2nd year.

The Gaillardia needs regular water, especially during hot summer days. Make sure the soil is always moist, but not soaked. Water the plant at the base to prevent mold formation.

Maintenance

Regularly remove yellowed leaves and dead flowers to keep the plant healthy. To promote flowering, you can prune back after the first flowering. This will encourage new growth and make the flower clusters fuller.

Location

The Gaillardia thrives best in full sun. Make sure the plant gets at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. The soil must be well-drained to prevent waterlogging.
