Care: Place your Portulaca in a sunny, dry spot. The plant stores water in its thick, fleshy leaves, making it drought-tolerant. Water regularly on the soil (not on the stems) and fertilize potted plants every two weeks with liquid fertilizer for annual container plants. Remove faded flowers to prolong blooming, often until the first frost.
