CARE of Silver Bush (Calocephalus):
It is a small shrubby plant from the Australian desert. The branched stems that grow longer and longer form a loose hanging silver tangle that can serve as an ideal binding and filler in a mixed planting in pots, containers or borders. It can grow into a cushion of 50cm in diameter, but you can cut it back at your leisure. This also prevents the plant from blooming: the grey-yellow flowers are not an asset and deprive the plant of its radiant beauty. The plant can withstand some frost and with that it is often filled with mixed winter pots.
