CARE of Rhipsalis:
The Rhipsalis is one of the most popular hanging plants. This is due to the thin strings with high ornamental value, but also the convenience that the hanging plant brings. The thin strands vary from thin and long to wide and ribbed to curly and round. Whether the plant is placed or hung in the house, living room, bathroom or bedroom, that is no problem.
Location: A position in the sun or shade does not matter for the strong Rhipsalis, but if you choose a position in the sun, water it a little more often. The ideal temperature is between 8 and 25 degrees.
Watering: Make sure the soil dries out before watering the plant again. It is better to give smaller amounts of water than too much water at once. The plant prefers not to be in wet soil for a long time. The plant will rot and shed stems if the plant is left in the wet soil for too long. On the other hand, if there is a lack of water, the stems will shrink and wrinkle. If you then water the plant again, the stem will usually fill up again and recover. Just make sure that this doesn't happen too often.
The plant can last a very long time and can grow quite large. However, you can simply keep the plant in shape by trimming, the plant will not be affected by this at all.
