CARE of Peony (Paeonia):
It is often claimed that peonies are difficult to flower. It naturally starts with excellent garden shapes and good plant quality. Place peonies in moist and nutrient-rich soil (clay or sand with a lot of humus and fertilizer) in a spot in full sun. Do not plant too deep, because that can cause the plant to flower poorly. The nose of the plant only needs to be 1-2 cm below the ground. It is best to (trans)plant a peony in the autumn.
