Care and Location

The Alocasia Lauterbachiana loves a very bright spot with plenty of indirect sunlight and a warm, draft-free environment. Ideal for a bright living room, conservatory, or office space. It thrives best at a constant temperature above 18°C.

Water and Nutrition

• Keep the soil consistently lightly moist, but make sure no water sits at the bottom of the pot.

• Preferably water the base of the plant with small amounts of lukewarm water.

• During the growing season (spring and summer), apply liquid houseplant fertilizer every two weeks.

• In autumn and winter, the plant requires significantly less water and does not need any fertilizer.

Light and Soil

• Prefers plenty of bright, indirect light.

• Avoid direct, harsh afternoon sun to prevent the leaves from burning.

• Use a very airy, well-draining potting soil mix (for example, with perlite or bark).
