CARE of Aster:
Asters are the easiest perennials to grow in the open ground. Most asters have small, daisy-like flowers, which bloom heavily in autumn and sometimes from summer onwards. Sometimes the leaf is no longer visible. Asters can be easily combined with other perennials. The plants are often inconspicuous until flowering begins. Asters combine well with perennial Geraniums, Anemone and many ornamental grasses. Feel free to make larger groups of this plant so that the color stands out even more in the autumn.
The Aster likes a sunny position and fertile, well-drained soil. The Asters are winter-hardy and can withstand frost well, but are not evergreen; they then lose the leaves. Remove dead branches in the spring so that the new shoots receive sufficient light and space to grow. In general, asters are very easy to grow garden plants.
