CARE of Fingerplant (Fatsia):

This sturdy green plant immediately creates an exotic atmosphere in your living room or garden. With its sturdy leaves it is impressively large, beautifully fresh green and shiny. The Fatsia has plain green leaves, there are also forms with white variegated leaves. The large leaves purify the air, so a finger plant contributes to a healthy indoor climate.

The older plants sometimes bloom with bunches of small creamy white pompoms. Followed by attractive black round fruits. The small flowers appear in autumn, they are grouped in clusters of small white pompoms.

Location Fatsia prefers a location in filtered sunlight to partial shade and some protection against chilly wind and scorching afternoon sun. Any soil type is suitable, except soil that is too calcareous, and is also tolerant of sea wind and air pollution.
