CARE of Fatsi (Fatsia):

The finger plant, also called Fatsia, is a sturdy and impressive plant that immediately creates an exotic atmosphere in your living room or garden. With its large, sturdy leaves that have a beautiful, shiny, fresh green color, it certainly attracts attention. There are also varieties with white variegated leaves, which add an extra accent. The large leaves of the Fatsia also purify the air, which contributes to a healthy indoor climate.

The older Fatsia plants may flower in autumn, with clusters of small, creamy white pompoms followed later by attractive black round fruits.

Location: The Fatsia prefers a location in filtered sunlight or partial shade. Make sure the plant has some protection from chilly winds and the scorching midday sun. The Fatsia is not picky about the type of soil, as long as it is not too calcareous. In addition, the plant is tolerant to sea winds and air pollution, making it also well suited for outdoor areas in urban areas.
