The best month is December! Isn't it nice to make your house completely cozy with various decorations and lights?
Christmas is of course the time when you can go completely over the top with decorating. Anything is possible and this is really the one time of year where the saying 'Less is more' absolutely does not apply. The crazier the better! I am sure that with the ideas and tips below you can make your home completely Christmassy without too much effort or expense.
Flowers
Flowers are of course always a nice way to brighten up your room. Invest in a few small, matching vases. Buy some cut flowers, cut them to the right length for the vases or bring the vases to the store and firenzebloemen.be will be happy to fill them for you. To get a beautiful effect with your transparent vase, it is best to use colored flowers. This way you can easily adapt them to selected Christmas decorations. Transparent vases are of course also easier to reuse.
Which is also a nice idea, to do it completely differently. For example, place only the flower buds and pine greenery in a shallow container of water, so you get a completely different effect on your table.
A table runner with a difference
One of the simplest, but very effective ways to make the Christmas table look very chic is with a table runner. When you think of Christmas, you immediately think of the colors red, green, gold or silver, but you can in principle also adapt this to your existing Christmas decorations. A table runner usually runs the length of the table, but by laying it across the width you immediately get a completely different effect. For example per 2 people.
Whimsical shapes
Before Christmas, look for loose, irregular branches. If necessary, bundle these together and place them in the center of the table. Place various decorations around the Christmas theme. For example, fresh flowers, some moss, Christmas baubles, pieces of Christmas garlands, small Christmas lights, then your table decoration is also an eye-catcher.
Also check out the Christmas lights
One of the most underestimated mood makers is lighting. Anything that is too bright white light will never create a cozy, warm atmosphere. If you want to keep it simple, choose tea lights. In this case, excess never hurts, so the more, the better! Do you still have vases? Then put some Christmas lights in there. Fun guaranteed!
A must are napkins
It almost sounds too simple, but don't forget to cover your table with napkins. Roll them up and wrap some Christmas ribbon around them. You then immediately create a unity in your table decoration.
One color
All colors are possible for Christmas! Let it appear everywhere in your home. Both in your flower arrangements and in your Christmas decorations. Then everything becomes one whole.
