CARE of Slipper flowers (Calceolaria):
The larger 'slippers' are grown as annual pot plants. Always make sure that the soil is sufficiently moist to keep it in bloom.
The smaller flower varieties can be used as a biennial bedding plant. You can take cuttings to get new plants. This is best done under glass in February or August. Also watch out for aphids, because they are very sensitive to that.
