CARE Poinsettia (Euphorbia):

If we take good care of the plants, they can easily keep their colored bracts for 2 to even 6 months.

Temperature:

Moderately warm: not below 12°C and not above 20°C. The ideal temperature is between  15 to 18°C.

Avoid large temperature fluctuations.

If the plant suddenly loses its leaves, without them wilting first. This could indicate that the temperature is too low, or that the plant has been exposed to cold or warm drafts.

Light:

In winter as much light as possible but not in direct sunlight.

Water:

Pour generously with lukewarm water and then wait until the top of the potting soil feels dry before pouring.

The poinsettia does not tolerate wet feet --> dispose of the excess water.

If the plant has a soaked root ball for several days in a row, the leaves will wilt and fall off prematurely.
