The Chain of hearts is officially called Ceropegia woodii, but is also known as string of hearts. And that is exactly what is so nice about this plant: the leaves are like little hearts. The hearts are attached to thin tendrils, which can grow very quickly and therefore become very long. The Chinese lantern plant is therefore really perfect for a high spot. For example, a cupboard: then you can let the plant grow downwards nicely.

The Chain of hearts is very easy to care for. Just water the plant once a week and it will grow like a charm. If you really want to give your best, then you also give some plant food about once a month. It's okay to forget him every now and then. If the plant gets too little light, the drawing on the leaf could disappear. A very easy plant, which actually tells what is wrong with it. Small flowers (lanterns) appear on the plant, but these do not form the ornamental value of the plant. It's really in the leaves and the growth habit.
