Types of funeral pieces
A funeral arrangement is a flower arrangement that is placed on a moist oasis surface. The shape of a funeral piece can vary from drop, oval, lined, Biedermeier, heart, open heart to a wreath. The funeral arrangement is possible on and next to the coffin. The funeral arrangement is available in different sizes and flowers. Here I give some examples:
Funeral piece or grave piece: A funeral work in Biedermeier is made in a round/oval shape. Available in different sizes. The funeral flowers are placed on a moist oasis surface. You can choose from different colors and flower types. This is often placed next to the coffin.
It is also the most commonly chosen form of funeral piece.
Funeral piece heart: The name says it all, it is a flower arrangement in the shape of a heart. Mourning heart symbolizes love. It is a beautiful funeral piece to say goodbye to a loved one. This is usually made in a certain color and flower of which they are placed close to each other. They are also placed on a moist oasis surface.
The funeral heart is possible for on and next to the coffin.
Urn wreath for funeral wreath: Circular flower arrangement. A funeral wreath symbolizes infinity, continuity of life and unity. The urn wreath consists of different flowers and greenery that are placed together on a moist surface.
The funeral wreath is possible for on and next to the coffin.
Laying bouquet or funeral bouquet: It is a composition of flowers that are tied together into a bouquet that can lie down. With a flat back. So that you can easily store the bouquet during the funeral or on the lawn.
Loose flowers: This is also much appreciated. People are increasingly taking loose flowers with them. A white rose then represents love and silence. It is also called a farewell flower.
Bouquet for surviving relatives or Comfort bouquet: This is often nice to give a beautiful, simple bouquet. The bouquet does not have to be a special funeral bouquet, but can be a flower type of your own choice or one that you know the recipient will like.
Plants instead of flowers?
Plants give a fresh, natural look to the funeral and are very suitable as decoration. Go for one large plant or opt for more greenery as decoration. Decorate the space with hanging pots with hanging or succulents for a natural atmosphere. In addition, pots can also be a nice addition to the whole: go for colored glass or decorated pots.
