Flowering from March to July in a variety of colours, small to large-flowered, depending on cultivar. They bloom profusely with many flowers that produce an infinite amount of seeds. These seed sow en masse and can spread out all over the garden. They don't need extra food in the ground. This violet is also very resistant to cold and has become more and more common in flower boxes that are planted in the autumn in recent years.
Water plants generously the first year, especially during dry periods. Remove spent flowers to encourage new blooms. They often flower significantly less in the second year and it is sometimes better to place new ones every year.
