A pot rose likes a lot of light and can therefore be placed in full sun, except on tropical days. It is important that, if the plants are in the sun, they need a lot of water. In the summer this may mean watering every day.
Make sure the soil does not dry out. It is best to give about 3cm of water in the overpot and empty the overpot again after 15 minutes.
When the pot rose has finished flowering, you can cut the plant 4 cm from the top of the pot and plant it in the garden in a bright place. The plant will then start growing and blooming again.
The pot rose can tolerate light frost.
