The Viburnum tinus is a compact growing evergreen hardy shrub. The flower buds are already visible in August. White flowers emerge from dark pink buds from October until well into April. The dark pink buds grow above the crop. The beautiful pink color only really comes out when there has been a good cold.
The plant does not really need to be pruned. In order to keep the plant in shape, the long shoots can be shortened in the spring and/or in the summer to maintain the shape of the plant.
