Ferns are actually good air purifiers and these species can thrive indoors. They prefer a light spot without direct sunlight and high humidity, so the bathroom is often ideal. If the humidity in the house is too low, a fern will release moisture back to the environment, so they also help optimize the humidity. Keep the root ball moist and do not let it dry out, occasionally misting with the plant sprayer does the plant well. They come in different leaf shapes and colours, so there is something for everyone, you can even plant them in a hanging pot, so that the leaves have all the space they need.
