CARE of Balloon flower (Platycodon):

Platycodon in nutritious, well-drained and deeply loose soil (the taproot must be able to grow downwards). Choose a sunny growing spot (not shaded by trees or shrubs) and leave the plants alone once planted. Clean up the dead foliage in the spring. Provide sufficient water during prolonged dry periods and a good, organic fertilizer in the spring.

For the rest it is just enjoying the beautiful flowers of these plants. They are especially beautiful in groups or combined with other perennials.
